We build custom portable oil filtration systems that:

  • Achieve a vacuum of less than 1 Torr: This capability allows the oil filtering system to boil water out of the oil at a much lower temperature, promoting maximum dehydration while maintaining oil integrity.
  • Maintain consistent vacuum and discharge volume: Our mobile oil purifiers maintain a consistent vacuum and flow rate, which facilitates thorough dehydration and degasification on every pass, increasing equipment service life.
  • Restore dielectric strength: Vacudyne systems help restore oil dielectric strength to manufacturer specifications, protecting your asset from internal faults.
  • Remove water and gas: Our high-capability systems can reduce water content from 100 ppm down to less than 10 ppm or from 50 ppm to less than 5 ppm. These solutions also remove dissolved gases from 12% down to less than 0.25% by volume. This level of purity significantly extends the life of the oil and the equipment.
  • Extract harmful particulates: Our fine filtration process removes 99% of microscopic particulates, down to 0.5 microns, reducing abrasive wear and tear on internal equipment components.
  • Handle heavily water-contaminated oil: Whether you are dealing with oil from a long-term storage tank with significant moisture accumulation or a sudden, large contamination event, our machines can restore oil integrity.
  • Separate high oil/water/gas: The chamber features dispersion cartridges, creating the right conditions to rapidly release water vapor and dissolved gases from the oil. This design accelerates purification and yields a higher degree of purity in the final product.

How Our Oil Filtration Machines Work

Oil is drawn into the high-vacuum dehydration system through an inlet strainer, which prevents particles from entering the system. The oil then enters the vacuum chamber, which features Vacudyne’s unique cascading distribution plate design. A low-maintenance vacuum pump provides a deep and consistent vacuum.

Oil exits the vacuum chamber through the outlet pump, which returns the oil to the equipment at a consistent system flow rate and discharge pressure. The oil then passes through a cartridge filter assembly that removes particulates down to 0.5 microns.

All high-vacuum oil purification units are supplied with a bypass valve assembly that enables the unit to also be used as a transfer system. A recirculation valve enables a portion of the oil to return to the system for additional processing. With optional control equipment, the vacuum system can also be used to evacuate electrical utility equipment and restore original vacuum levels.

  • Heavyduty carbon steel: We use heavy-duty carbon steel for the system’s frame and structure, allowing it to withstand the rigors of transport and demanding industrial use. This construction promotes a long equipment lifespan.
  • Oil retentive skid design: A built-in containment pan catches drips or minor spills, helping you maintain a cleaner, safer worksite and comply with environmental regulations by preventing ground contamination.

High vacuum is used for dehydration, degasification, and filtration of high-voltage insulating oil.
